We live in a beautiful and peaceful countryside in Mäntsälä, where our dogs can live in a pack and fulfill their original purpose by guarding our family and our small farm.
Our goal is to breed healthy, purebred and absolutely good-natured dogs according to the original breed definition. Years of background work have helped us understand what kind of dogs we want to bring into our home to live the everyday life of a large family, and what we want Boerboels to remain in the future. We want to preserve its original, historical and rare bloodlines. That is why all our dogs are active sporting dogs in different activities and they live everyday life together with our large family and children.
Our love for the breed began over 20 years ago, when we saw our first Boerboel. Its presence, loyalty and protective nature were everything we were looking for in a dog. Ever since our first Boerboel arrived in Finland, the breed has completely stolen our hearts.
During these years we have met many wonderful breed enthusiasts and breeders from all over the world. We continue to work closely with them and together we will preserve the unique characteristics, history and origins of this beautiful breed.
The kennel name Tuebor Boerboels was granted to us by the breed association in 08/2013.
The FCI granted the kennel name "Tuebor" in 04/2015.
"Tuebor" is Latin and loosely translates to "I guard / I protect".
And that's what Boerboels are great at!
