Tuebor’s Imports
12/08/2025
For us, every breeding decision is an act of responsibility—not only for the next litter, but for the long-term future of the breed.
Choosing an import is never a spontaneous decision or based on appearance alone. We search for bloodlines with depth, continuity, and history. Dogs whose pedigree speaks not just in names—but in the qualities passed on through generations: structure, character, and soundness.
We don't focus on the individual dog—we focus on the lineage.
We look for lines that trace back to the original foundation dogs and beyond. We study combinations, patterns, and what has been purposefully repeated. We seek dogs that carry forward the elements this breed was originally built on.
Health is one of our top priorities—not only through official health scores, but also through knowledge that doesn't always show on paper: longevity, quality of movement, fertility, and functional strength.
When a bloodline withstands time, the dog withstands real life.
Structure to us doesn't just mean angulation or a beautiful outline—it means functionality.
We seek dogs that move with ease, react with clarity, and carry their role—both physically and mentally.
We have already imported dogs from South Africa, the Netherlands, and Russia.
Each of them was selected with care—not for where they came from, but for what they represent.
Our next imports are already in progress—past the planning stage. We are well into discussions, studying health data and evaluating lines.
We are not in a rush—but we move with purpose.
An import is not a trophy. It is a building block in a long-term breeding program, aimed at preserving what must never be lost in the Boerboel: balance, strength, courage, sensitivity—and true working structure.
We don't breed for the moment.
We build something that endures.
That is why we wait for the right dogs.
That is why we research, ask, compare, and reflect—
And that is why we stand behind every single import.
Time and time again.
