Puppy questionnaire
If you are interested in one of our puppies, you can contact us by using this puppy questionnaire. As responsible breeders, we are interested in what kind of home we are getting a puppy for. Contacting is not a guarantee of selling a puppy, correspondingly, sending the form does not oblige you to purchase a puppy from us.
Each puppy is unique in terms of individual needs and personalities, so we strive to find them the right home to avoid future problems. We make suggestions and choices based on the puppy tests and the information provided, so we ask that you fill in each section honestly.
We evaluate all our pups with the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test when they are 6–7 weeks old. This internationally recognised test measures important traits such as confidence, sociability, problem-solving, sensitivity and the puppy's willingness to work with people.
We have used this test for about eight years because it gives a reliable first look at each puppy's natural tendencies before their environment begins to shape them. The results help us place puppies in homes that best match their temperament and needs, and they also give new owners a valuable starting point for early training and socialisation.
While a single test does not define the dog's entire future, it provides useful guidance and helps us support each family in understanding their puppy's strengths and ideal learning style from day one.
