Puppies

We breed Boerboels with purpose. Our focus is on health, correct structure, and a stable, reliable temperament. Not just how the dog looks, but how it functions in real life.
A Boerboel should be both a strong representative of the breed and a balanced, dependable companion.

The Boerboel is not a typical companion dog. It is a functional farm dog, originally bred for guarding and real work. With that comes awareness, strength, and a natural instinct to protect. We do not aim to change that.

Health and responsibility

All breeding dogs are health tested before use.
We evaluate hips, elbows, spine, knees, eyes, and heart, along with overall structure and condition.

DNA testing has always been part of our program. We screen for known hereditary conditions, including epilepsy, and use the results in breeding decisions. Even with careful selection, dogs are individuals.

No breeding program can guarantee perfection, and we take responsibility for our dogs long-term.

Raising

Puppies are raised in a structured home environment and exposed to everyday life from an early age. They grow up as part of a large family with children of different ages, becoming naturally accustomed to activity, noise, and daily routines. Each puppy is observed as an individual and guided accordingly.

Puppy evaluation

Puppies are evaluated around 6–7 weeks of age. We assess temperament, confidence, drives, and overall balance, as well as how each puppy responds to different situations. These evaluations are used to match each puppy with the most suitable home.

Placement

Puppies are not placed on a first-come basis. Homes are selected based on suitability, experience, and environment. We do not allow buyers to choose their puppy. Each puppy is matched after evaluation.
Puppies are delivered:

  • microchipped
  • dewormed
  • vet checked
  • with documentation and puppy pack

Each puppy also comes with a comprehensive digital puppy binder, including the health results of the parents and close relatives. Owners receive electronic versions of all our materials, including our puppy guide and breed information.

We expect

  • understanding of the breed
  • commitment to training and socialization
  • cooperation with the breeder
  • willingness to complete health testing in adulthood
